Wrapping Up Uranus!

As Uranus completes its transit through Aquarius. My New Year's wish for each of you: Continue the blessed Holiday Season filled with the joy and peace of the spiritual renaissance into this New Year.
Every two thousand years our universe enters a distinctly different reflective cycle of new-sprung energy and fresh experiences, symbolically represented by the characteristics of an astrological sign. We have just left the Piscean Age for this "New Age," the Age of Aquarius depicted by a man carrying an urn of water, from which flows rational thought, universal love and equality for all humanity. This Age began in 1998 and will last for two thousand years.
Uranus, the Great Awakener, is the first of the transpersonal planets. Transpersonal planets affect the collective consciousness of the world as well as the individual. It is associated with sudden, unexpected changes that lead to freedom, individuation, originality and independence. Always connected to the mind of God from whence all creative invention comes, Uranus inspires us to create and achieve on a universal as well as individual level. As intuitive connections are made with God, changes occur for the individual and for the world. The planet Uranus rules the sign of Aquarius and therefore, is the ruling planet of the next 2,000 years. Journeying through its home sign since Jan. 13, 1996, Uranus moves into Pisces on Mar. 10, 2003. Uranus will retrograde back into Aquarius on Sept. 16, 2003, go direct in Aquarius on Nov. 8th and will re-enter Pisces on Dec. 30, s003.
Comfortable and powerful in its natural sign, Uranus created a great deal of change in the last seven years. It will be even stronger as it completes its tour of Aquarius. This particular placement of Uranus in Aquarius. This particular placement of Uranus in Aquarius will not occur again for 84 years! Therefore, it is vital to understand the last seven years to gain more insight for the next two months and for the next 2,000 years!
The challenge of Uranus is sudden disruption. Along with the sudden insights provided by this planet come the unexpected "wake up" calls phoned in by this transit. The Y2K disturbance of the millennium is a perfect example of Uranian "upset." I said then that it was an unfounded fear regarding computers, but rather unconscious anxiety of the changes Uranus and Aquarius had been bringing. This level of anxiety is symptomatic of the energy of Uranus. But if the computers had crashed as predicted, that too would be an expression of an Uranian challenge. This "event" did draw our attention to how dependent we have become on computer technology for better or worse. 9/11 ushered in an age of Terrorism by having airplanes, ruled by Uranus, crash into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. These are profoundly negative manifestations of Uranus. However, our sudden awareness of our won vulnerability to this extreme manifestation of Uranian disruption is a gift from the source, which will aid us in our climb to the positive attributes of universal understanding.
The next two thousand year cycle offers us a promise of cosmic adulthood as we experience enlightenment through a deep awareness of our most precious gift form God - our soul. More of us will come to believe in the power and the goodness of our soul, and in its wisdom to "create" our lives perfectly. Because Aquarius is the embodiment of the holistic model (e.g., integration of the mind, body and soul), conscious co-creation can only begin with a commitment to pursuing our soul's mission, starting with the development of our personality. Aquarius honors the uniqueness of the human personality and loves the spiritual connection it has with all humankind. And as humanity enters this Age, a universal, spiritually driven urgency to recommit ourselves to the attainable goals of freedom. It promotes brotherhood and tolerance, and will become an ever-increasing point of convergence, and kindred social activism across our planet.
The following questions are important to ponder and answer:
- How do I continue to be connected to the universal mind and obtain clear insights?
- How can I claim my unique talents and express them to improve my world?
- How can I claim my independence?
- How do I honor my unique path to individuation?
- How do I transform my fear of change?
Uranus moves into Pisces on Mar. 11, 2003. We have 3 months to review and resolve the changes that the Uranus in Aquarius transit has provided for us as individuals and as members of the world community.
