Before I Go....

Transitions from South Node of Aquarius to North Node of Leo
Looking at the Earth Elements of Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn

I come from Aquarius, with all of my ideals
Deeply ingrained about how I feel.
I stay in my “head” with words and thoughts
Matters of the heart cannot be taught.
Close relationships - not my cup of tea
Expressing myself is where I like to be.
Now don’t get too close – I stay detached
But that's part of the past – I am thankful for that.
The element of Air that has kept me up there
Now gives me the freedom to fly anywhere.

So off to the jungle where Lions are King
I bravely step out to capture the ring
The ring that will lead me to courage today
To accept the attention and lead the way.
I stand on a mountain so proud and tall
Knowing I may stumble, but never will fall.
And high on this mountain, so close to the sun
I feel my heart quicken – I am ready to run
Down to the meadow to laugh and to play
Making new heart connections day by day.

But what am I missing – do I have it all?
Or is there more … To Spirit I call.
The answer comes back – loud and clear
Look where you are standing - the earth so dear.

But to sit still in nature is no fun to me
Gardening and order – not my cup of tea.
To put down roots or settle down
Would paint on my face a great big frown.
So this is the element I want to blend
Integration is the goal in the end ...
To find the place where ideals meet reason
To learn to appreciate the changing season.
There must be something between “I want it now”
And that word called patience – I wonder how.
You mean it is not all mental but material too
Sometimes I feel there is too much to do.

But that quickly passes for I surely know
Life is not stagnant – we are meant to grow.
It is never too late - the sun always rises
Another day wakens with more surprises.
So off I go to see what’s in store
Keeping the door open for more and more.

For only with balance between earth and fire
Will I succeed with my dreams and desire.
But succeed I will for I also know
I am here to fill a purpose before I go.
