The New Moon
Nina Baker and Linda Adams, Karmic Astrologers trained by Linda Brady, Karmic Astrologer and Author of "Discovering Your Soul Mission," will present a new monthly article entitled: "Star Lights." This is a new series of Creative Choices, which will highlight important lunar/planetary/sign cycles. The purpose of "Star Lights" is to provide a concise astrological resource with insights for those on a soul journey.
The first "Star Lights" feature is making its debut under The New Moon, which occurs Saturday, August 18, 2001 at 10:55 PM. The New Moon cycle is a symbolic time for New Beginnings and New Sprung Energy!
The New Moon represents a time of increasing light, commonly referred to as the "waxing" moon. It will span a period of 2 weeks. During this energetic time of renewal, it is traditionally indicative of launching new projects, presenting new ideas, and experiencing a surge of growth.
The New Moon will also be in the sign of Leo; Leo symbolizes shining magnetic energy! This may be a fun time to head for that family vacation at the beach. Have fun and laugh with the kids or even entertain the child within your self. Open your heart, be creative, and share the benevolent power of your soul…. Carry that feeling of enthusiasm and excitement to the next level as the New Moon cycle embraces the planting of annuals, sporting a new hair do or painting a sunset. Let your imagination and bright ideas flow! Remember this is a time to go for it!
