Discover Your Soul Mission

 

Your astrological chart is a gift from your soul.  It contains all of the symbols you need to discover your spiritual mission; your soul's plan for your life.  Your challenge is to discover and commit to your life's purpose. The most significant symbol in your astrological chart is the north node. The nodes are not planets. The north node is the point where the moon orbiting its way to the earth's northern hemisphere intercepts the earth's orbit around the Sun. It is a focal point that indicates where new growth is needed. The south node is the point where the moon on its way to earth's southern hemisphere intercepts the earth's orbit intercepts the earth's orbit around the Sun. It is a focal point which indicates what is old and needs to left behind.. These two points are always opposite to each other. Martin Schulman in his book "Karmic Astrology" states that the nodes are actually points of soul magnetism: the north node pulling toward the future: the south node coming from the past. Of the many symbols present in your chart, the north node provides specific information on how your soul wishes you to develop through your understanding of these astrological energies.

 

The journey from the South Node to the North Node symbolizes our soul’s quest to move from one life experience into another.  The South Node is the continuity point from our past lives into the current one.  It represents our karmic strengths, what skills we have already learned.  It is home base, security, and the patterns we fall back on when we are stressed.  The North Node is our soul’s light at the end of the tunnel and our karmic success story.  Always opposite to our South Node, it symbolizes our stretch into the unknown.  It is our ultimate change and greatest challenge.  It marks our moving away from what is familiar and safe; and it is filled with the potential for joy, excitement and soul gratification.  My north node is in the sign of Leo, so my soul wishes me to develop Leo characteristics: courage, leadership, inspiration, generosity and confidence. My challenge is to live my life using those qualities to enhance my experience and fulfill my soul mission. My soul wants my personality to express the energy of my Leo north node to help me achieve my mission. It is my opportunity to focus my Souith Node energy in the sign of Aquarius through my North Node filter. I am an astrologer (Aquarius rules astrology) and I am a holistic leader (Leo).
